It was after Joey de Leon addressed her, “Hoy, buntis!”
Actress Pauleen Luna, the wife of actor and host Vic Sotto, has yet to confirm speculations about her second pregnancy. Despite this, netizens were sent abuzz after Vic’s longtime co-host and friend Joey de Leon addressed her as “Hoy, Buntis!” during the pilot episode of “E.A.T.” on TV5 last July 1, 2023.
Eagle-eyed netizens noticed that Joey addressed Pauleen as “buntis” or pregnant while the hosts of TV5’s noontime show were performing “Rock Baby Rock.” During this number, the spouses of the comedic trio of Vic, Joey and Tito Sotto, collectively known as TVJ, went up the stage to dance along, as seen in a video uploaded by netizen @elysei6 on Sunday, July 2.

The actress-host is then seen playfully hitting Joey in response to his remark. Pauleen then appeared to hold her belly while walking onstage to Vic’s side.
Is Pauleen really pregnant?
Pauleen’s fans couldn’t help but be amused with Joey’s remarks in the comments, with some even hoping that she is indeed pregnant for the second time around.
Pregnancy rumors have hounded Pauleen since June after she was not spotted with her husband and daughter Tali at the wedding of Kathleen Hermosa, sister of her daughter-in-law Kristine Hermosa.
Even long before this occasion, many have seemingly been rooting for Pauleen to get pregnant again as the same rumor has started making rounds as far back as 2021.
The speculations went up a notch when Pauleen posted about cord blood banking for an umbilical cord storage company on Instagram last June.
The actress-host has yet to address the reports.
Pauleen tied the knot with Vic at the St. James The Great Parish Church in Alabang in January 2016 after being together since 2011. The couple then welcomed their daughter Talitha Maria in November 2017.
