Amidst her third wedding anniversary, Hailey Bieber is shutting down rumors that her husband, pop star Justin Bieber, mistreats her.
In the latest episode of Demi Lovato’s podcast 4D with Demi Lovato, the model shared how she felt about people assuming things about her relationship.
“There’s so many narratives that float around about me, about him, about us together,” she told Lovato. “There’s one big, fat narrative that goes around that’s like, ‘Justin is not nice to her and he mistreats her.’ And I’m just like, it’s so far from the truth and it’s the complete and utter opposite.”
The 24-year-old went on to call herself “lucky” to be with the “Baby” singer, who she claims is “extremely respectful” of her and makes her “feel special” every day.
“So if the lie is, ‘They’re miserable in their relationship,’ it’s like, well the truth is that we’ve literally never been more obsessed with each other and we have so much fun together,” Bieber explained.
Talk about the alleged mistreatment has surrounded the couple for years, most recently when Justin was spotted “yelling” at Hailey in Las Vegas back in July.
In response to the accusations, Hailey posted a couple photo on Instagram and captioned it: “Reminiscing on how amazing last weekend was. Any other narrative floating around is beyond false. Don’t feed into the negative bulls—t peeps.”
Despite all the rumors and negative news, the former Baldwin has cited Justin to be one of her support pillars. “He’ll come in and be like, ‘Well the truth is this: the truth is that you’re good and you’re secure and you’re loved and all of your friends love you and your family loves you and I love you.”
The two met in 2009 and later married in 2018, following a very publicized on-off relationship between Justin Bieber and fellow pop singer Selena Gomez. The Biebers marked their third wedding anniversary on the Met Gala red carpet last Monday.
