Earlier this year, Kim Kardashian announced that she would be filing a divorce from Kanye West. After six years of marriage and having four kids together, the couple are splitting up due to “irreconcilable differences.” Her momager Kris Jenner finally breaks her silence on the news and reveals that the final season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians will touch on the divorce.
In an interview with The Kyle & Jackie O Show, Kris comments that like all divorces, it’s going to be a hard time especially when there are kids involved. “The good thing about our family is that we are there for each other and supportive and we love each other very, very much — so all I want is for those two kids to be happy,” she says when referring to the couple.
“I think we all want that for our families, just to be able to have the love and appreciation of one another and just that everyone’s okay,” Kris continues. That’s all she could ask for as a mom.
KUWTK will be coming to an end soon with the 20th season currently airing. Although Kris Jenner says there are scenes talking about the divorce, she can’t say how much of it will be featured. “I don’t know what they have decided on the finale because we haven’t seen the first show yet. I’m sure they’re putting some final touches, but I think it’s just a private time for them.”
“When she feels like it, I’m sure she’ll say what she needs to say,” Kris adds. Kim wants to keep things between her family private and chooses to say little about it on the show. The media causes enough speculation about her life with Kanye and the reality star is trying to be respectful and supportive of the musician despite their separation.
