Kapamilya stars celebrate the season of joy and gift-giving in style!
ABS-CBN has decked the halls as it celebrates the Holiday season with Star Magical Christmas 2023.
Held at Marriott Hotel on Sunday, November 19, 2023, Star Magic’s brightest stars convened in a night full of merriment and gift-giving—as they strutted the white carpet in Christmas-inspired numbers.
More than that, each celebrity carries a piece of joy—a gift—that would be given to the children of Bantay Bata 163. Check out some of the best moments from the event:
Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano
The outfits of “Can’t Buy Me Love” lead stars Donny and Belle have taken creative inspiration from the traditional Christmas colors: green, red, and white.
For Belle, she reimagined the staple Holiday sweet candy cane into her dress, as she also showcased a red satin train. Donny, on the other hand, gives his look a playful twist with texture and plaid that give off a warm Christmas feel.
Francine Diaz and Seth Fedelin
Green and white blend well together, and love team FranSeth is here to prove that fact.
Seth’s tuxedo was ramped up into festivity as green takes over the pure white fur that makes up his entire collar. Meanwhile, Francine is one true ice queen, as she dons an ivory beaded gown accentuated by a fur shawl.
Jane Oineza and RK Bagatsing
Real-life couple Jane and RK infused the Great Gatsby and Hallmark holiday films in their outfits, as they both walked the red carpet in matching red and black numbers.
Jane’s neon cut-out gown pairs well with her Hollywood fur gloves while RK arrives in a sharp, velvet, black suit that makes it look as if James Bond takes a break from his usual shenanigans to spend a warm Christmas vacation.
Loisa Andalio and Ronnie Alonte
LoiNie made it a point to emphasize who’s naughty and nice in this year’s Santa Claus’s list. Living up to the classic story of the Nutcracker is “Pira-pirasong Paraiso” star Loisa Andalio who magnificently graces the red carpet in a golden ballerina outfit.
She walks hand-in-hand with beau Ronnie Alonte who gives a touch of mafia in his red fur coat that accentuates his chunky silver necklace.
Drawing great inspiration from the film “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,” Joshua Garcia dons a Willy Wonka costume. Just like the Christmas icon, Joshua wears a chic, wine-red, velvet suit that goes below the knees. The shades, the scepter, and the tall hat just make up for an entire fantasy made of sweets.
Robi Domingo also makes his appearance a bit more traditional, as he walks down the red carpet as the Little Drummer Boy. He showcases a playful combination of red and gold for his toy jacket, while the drummer hat finishes off the concept.
Andrea had reimagined the concept of snow angels into something more Pinoy—and what better way to do that than walk the red carpet as a living Christmas lantern.
The “Senior High” star showcases a Victoria’s Secret fantasy, wearing a white dress detailed with fur. On her back is a parol—just as fuzzy—as her dress’s upper part. Completing the look are two parol tails that hang as the costume’s train.
JK Labajo and Kyle Echarri
Of course, Christmas is not complete without its iconic symbol—Santa Claus and his famed reindeer, Rudolph!
“Ere” JK singer has brought that concept up to the event as Santa, only that he is wearing black leather gloves that give off an edgy vibe. Walking beside him is “Senior High” co-star Kyle who playfully portrays Rudolph with antlers, a furry brown jacket, and suit.
Another Christmas angel entry comes from “Amakabogera” singer Maymay Entrata. Her above-the-knee, white dress complements well with a pair of wings—making her just as solemn as it is fun on the white carpet.
Just another outfit that people can’t miss is Vivoree’s elf-inspired number. Walking as Santa’s little helper, Vivoree’s shimmering green attire paired with a chunky, silver belt is one true gift in the eyes. Add to that is her elongated, pointed ears that wrap up the idea of being an elf.
The Star Magical Christmas 2023
The Star Magical Christmas event is ABS-CBN’s effort to bring a star-studded gathering before the year ends. More than being a spectacle, the event also aims to provide happiness for the children of Bantay Bata—the network’s social welfare program under the Lingkod Kapamilya Foundation.
