Vice Ganda Hangs Out With Sparkle Talents Kyline Alcantara, Mavy Legaspi, Ken Chan

Vice Ganda refers to Sparkle talents as his new friends!

“It’s Showtime” host Vice Ganda has seemingly found friendship in some artists of GMA-7’s talent management arm, Sparkle, as he takes to Instagram some snaps of his night-out with Kyline Alcantara, Mavy Legaspi, Ken Chan, and many more.

More than a week after ABS-CBN’s “It’s Showtime” had its first run on GMA-7’s sister channel GTV, the “Unkabogable Star” then headed towards building new relationships with GMA-7 talents.

“Luv Is: Love At First Read” star Kyline Alcantara, on the other hand, uploaded a separate Instagram story of the gathering, in which she says that Vice is an inspiration.

“Sobrang saya ko na nakausap na po kita, Ate @praybeytbenjamin. Thank you for answering all of my questions last night about the industry,” she writes.

Also seen sharing the table with Vice was Kyline’s on-screen tandem Mavy Legaspi who currently appears as a regular host of GMA-7’s noontime show “Eat Bulaga.”

The Cruz brothers, Rayver and Rodjun, were also present at the event, with Rayver initially gracing “It’s Showtime’s” debut run on July 1, 2023.

“TV War is over”

“It’s Showtime” started its regular run on GTV with a star-studded lineup of guests, including Barbie Forteza who immediately gained Vice Ganda’s nod as a prospective host of the noontime show.

Kapuso singers (and former Kapamilyas) Mark Bautista and Christian Bautista also appeared during the pilot episode as judges of “Tawag Ng Tanghalan”—the show’s amateur singing segment.

The network transfer of “It’s Showtime” signifies an important shift in the entertainment landscape, wherein the two rival networks finally put an end to the long-running network clash between them.

According to GMA Network’s Chairman and CEO Felipe Gozon, “TV war is over” as the network inked a contract with the ABS-CBN executives on June 28.
