Is Vince Maristela ready to go topless in his future projects?
Vince Maristela is one of GMA Network’s latest discoveries.
Maristela started out as a child actor playing younger versions of lead characters in teleseryes. He then took a break from acting and focused on becoming a model while doing his studies.
In 2022, Maristela became an exclusive artist of GMA Network’s talent management arm, Sparkle. He is part of the then-newly launched group, Sparkada.
Now, Maristela is being touted as GMA Network’s newest hunk actor, which can be seen in the ongoing Kapuso primetime series “Luv Is: Caught In His Arms,” headlined by Sofia Pablo and Allen Ansay.
In the series, he plays Tristan Ferell, the oldest among the popular Ferell brothers. His siblings are played by Ansay and Maristela’s Sparkada co-members, Sean Lucas, Raheel Bhyria, and Michael Sager.
Aside from this, Maristela is also active on social media, sharing his fitness journey. He also has no qualms for posing topless!

Vince Maristela in “Luv Is: Caught In His Arms”
In an interview with FreebieMNL during the recent press conference of “Luv Is,” Maristela sheds more light about his character, Tristan.
He says, “Ang role ko is ako yung pinakamatanda and ako yung kuya nila. Ako yung nag-ga-guide sa mga challenges nila. Kapag kailangan nila ng tulong, nandoon ako parati sa kanila. Kuya lang na parating nadyan sa kapamilya nila.
“One thing I can describe [about] Tristan, siguro minsan nakakalimutan niyang magtira para sa kanya, may ganung drama sa kanila.”
For the series, his partner is fellow Sparkada member, Cheksa Fausto. Fausto plays one of the villains in the series.
How would Maristela describe their characters’ relationships?
Maristela decides not to spill the beans, only saying “Ang dynamics ng relationship namin, hindi ko alam kung ma-spoil ko, abangan niyo na lang.”

While Maristela may be proud to show his bod on social media, it may be a different story for his character in “Luv Is: Caught In His Arms.”
He tells FreebieMNL, “Siyempre, may mga kaunting pa-sexy ng onting-onti lang, mga pa-sando lang. Next project na lang kung magkakaroon [ng gano’n]!”
Now that he’s being touted as the new hunk actor of GMA Network, will Maristela be ready to bare more skin and go sexy in his next project?
He answers, “I’m ready naman po basta binigay ng Sparkle, ng network. Ibibigay ko yung best ko para magampanan ko ang isang role. Kasi, siyempre, bilang isang magaling na artista, dapat kailangan, lahat ng trabahong ibibigay sa ‘yo, kaya mo rin, ready ka.”
Fitness tips from Vince Maristela
Maristela is proud of his hard work when it comes to his fitness. He keeps track of his fitness journey very well, which he shares with his Instagram followers.
There are videos of him exercising with a jumping rope, as well as boxing, and heavy weightlifting.
Maristela proudly flexes his bulging biceps and muscles in his posts.
He has a post comparing a topless photo taken from his teenage years to the present time, showing his abs.
What is Maristela’s secret to achieving this bod?
He says, “Siguro, one misconception ng mga tao is you always focus on working out but they don’t focus on the diet. 70% is diet, 30% is the workout. Kailangan lahat, pantay pantay—diet, training.”
When it comes to what he usually eats, he enumerates “sweet potato, chicken breast, chicken leg, salmon, rice.” However, he clarifies with a smile, “Anything actually, I just count them.”
Maristela’s co-stars see him as a fitspiration, to the point that co-star Allen Ansay was influenced to work out and have a healthy diet!
Aside from keeping himself busy with fitness and showbiz career, the Sparkada hunk will also graduate from College, with Marketing Management as his course in De La Salle University.
