SHEIN Launches Pop-up Store and New Endorser Belle Mariano

The brand’s signature looks are finally here!

On Thursday, fast fashion brand SHEIN opened its first pop-up store in the country. It began operations on the 20th of October at the Ayala Malls Manila Bay.

The three-day event also introduced Belle Mariano (whose new film with Donny Pangilinan will hit theaters this month) as the first-ever Philippine ambassador. The Kapamilya star mentioned learning about SHEIN during the pandemic. She says that the convenience and the quality drew her to the brand.

SHEIN pointed out that Mariano has the perfect vision for its brand. They see her image as a “young, vibrant, and talented actress on the rise.” They believe this matches SHEIN’s character as “vibrant” and “teeming with potential and vitality.”

Aside from Mariano, the event had Binibining Pilipinas queens Nicole Borromeo and Stacey Gabriel as guests. Style enthusiasts like Chie Filomeno, David Guison, Sam Pinto, and Small Laude also supported the brand.

The future of SHEIN in the Philippines

Before it arrived in the Philippines, the brand held successful launches all over Europe and the United States. Filipino fashionistas were happy to see the brand’s latest looks in person.

Aside from that, the brand also set up a runway where people could strike poses. A photo booth also offered attendees the chance to be “models.”

Ayala Malls President, Chris Maglanoc, shared how happy they were to host the brand’s event. “We’re happy SHEIN opened its first-ever pop-up in the Philippines at Ayala Malls. In the past few years, the growth of SHEIN’s business and customer base has been dramatic.”

“We felt it was a perfect fit for Ayala Malls. Having the pop-up here completed our patrons’ shopping experience because they enjoy both online and on-ground shopping,” he adds.

Maglanoc hinted that this might only be the first of many collaborations between Ayala Malls and SHEIN.
