Anne wears a sparkly black dress inspired by the “Bejeweled” music video
Anne Curtis has spent her birthday fangirling live on Taylor Swift during the songstress’s The Eras Tour concert in Melbourne, Australia.
The “It’s Showtime” host, who turned 39 on February 17, 2024, celebrated another year by gracing the sold-out concert of the American singer-songwriter.
Anne has shared on Instagram some snippets of her fangirling moments during the concert—including when she was in the crowd while singing Taylor’s hit song “Bejeweled” and “Shake It Off.”
Part of Anne’s caption reads, “Bejeweled [star and diamond emoji]. Birthday weekend was so special. This is just a sneak peek. More fun vids from the concert to come. Pasensya sa voice ko. Wa-poise when she was so close.”
In the post, Anne has also extended thanks to the team behind her curated look for the concert: Michael Leyva for the “Bejeweled”-inspired dress, Nigel Stanislaus for makeup, and Maison Valentino for the bag.
Anne was accompanied by her friends, Isabelle Daza, Nicole Warne, and Martine Ho. Other Filipino personalities who were seen at the Australian leg were Kathryn Bernardo and host Rain Matienzo.
Prior to the concert, Anne has announced her attendance by teasing the netizens with a photo of her VIP ticket next to her bag. It is captioned with the lyrics, “I can still make the whole place shimmer.”
Before the Australian leg of The Eras Tour, Taylor brought the concert first to Japan, which was also attended by some Filipino celebrities including Andrea Brillantes, Alexa Ilacad, and Michelle Vito.
The Eras Tour followed the popstar’s Reputation Stadium Tour five years later. The world tour started in March 2023 and is expected to wrap up by December 2024 with 150 shows.
It currently holds the record as the highest-grossing music tour ever from the Guinness World Records, amounting to a total of $1 billion in revenue.
