The GMA Gala 2023 had put everyone on their heels, anticipating who might appear next on the red carpet. Just when people thought they’ve seen all kinds of industry personalities already, here come the pageant queens with their class and social media personalities with their elegance, as they made the event more interesting with their numbers.

Headlining the beauty queens is Miss Universe Philippines 2022 Celeste Cortesi who just recently signed up with GMA-7’s talent management arm, Sparkle.

Just days after her contract signing, she immediately went for her first-ever appearance on GMA Gala‘s red carpet with non-showbiz boyfriend Mathew Custodio.

Celeste has donned a hooded, plunging neckline skin-colored gown while her long-time beau went for the classic look in white button-up and black suit.

Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee has also showed up all by herself on the red carpet. Donning a shoulder-padded gown, the beauty queen’s number gives off an armor illusion.

Miss World 2013 Megan Young channels her golden beauty in a Francis Libiran-made number. It features a spaghetti-strapped top matched perfectly well by a wide bottom. Meanwhile, her husband Mikael Daez looks sharp and dapper with also a Francis-Libiran suit. The two are teamed up in GMA-7’s primetime series, “Royal Blood.”

Miss Universe Philippines 2021 Rabiya Mateo also brings out her golden charm in a high-slit gold embellished gown. Posing next to her is dashing boyfriend Jeric Gonzales who gives a new definition to sharp men in suit and bowtie.

Also dignifying the red carpet with her beauty is Kapuso talent and Reina Hispanoamericana titleholder Teresita Ssen “Winwyn” Marquez. The 31-year-old beauty queen brought in a strike of color, as she walked in a hot pink and black number.

Miss Universe Philippines 2009 Bianca Manalo emphasized her statuesque height with a gold slit gown, while being accompanied by Senator Win Gatchalian who looks no less dapper in his Tom Ford suit.

Another beauty queen attendee is Roxie Smith who dazzles the red carpet in black, Hollywood gown paired with black neck piece and gloves.

Miss Grand Philippines 2022 Roberta Tamondong, Miss International 2022 Top 15 Hannah Arnold, and Reina Hispano-mericana 2022 finalist Ingrid Santamaria dominated the red carpet in three as they pose to the camera in their respective black, mint-green, and diamond-encrusted numbers.

Recently crowned Miss Grand Philippines Nikki De Moura of Cagayan De Oro arrives in two-piece tasseled ensemble and a clean-hair finish.

Miss World 2018 Katarina Rodriguez showcases Hollywood glam with her chunky necklace, clam-like top, and a high-slit bottom. She also arrives with a clutch that so much resembles a pearl. The beauty queen ventured into joining Miss World 2018. However, she failed to make it to the first cut of the competition. Nonetheless, she still holds an international title as the first runner-up of Miss Intercontinental 2017.

Social media personalities walk the red carpet all glammed up

On top of the beauty queens, another surprise attendees are the internet celebrities who all made the night more interesting with their unique outfits.

Food content creator Abi Marquez, or more known to the scene as Lumpia Queen, had walked the red carpet in white-hemmed black gown.

Abi is currently an exclusive talent of NYMA, a talent agency under the TraDigital company Kroma Entertainment.

Another internet celebrity who graced the event is content creator Ayn Bernos, who is famous for her TikTok videos about her advocacies and English-Tagalog grammar content. Ayn sports a black, volumized number with draping hems and a trail.

Baninay Bautista radiates a monochromatic ensemble that matches perfectly well with her boyfriend, YouTube personality Bont Bryan Oropel, who wears a jewel-patterned, V-neck suit.

“Tequila” singer and “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” cast member Toni Fowler has also graced the event, with a gold-plated black evening ensemble.

Vlogger Zeinab Harake, on the other hand, showcased a jewel-encrusted gown, with slits. In arm is her date Alphard Figaro Alas V—a dental specialist—who was spotted wearing a pink-beaded suit.

Toni and Zeinab, once caught in a feud, were reported to have made peace with each other during the event’s after-party. This was confirmed by Comedian-host Vice Ganda who took to Twitter the reconciliation as one of his best moments at the event.

The two internet celebrities had been in quarrel since October 2022 after talent handler Wilbert Tolentino publicized a screenshot, attesting to Zeinab’s seeming ill words against Toni’s family.

GMA Gala 2023 lives by its promise of upholding glitz, glamor, and goodwill, as the Kapuso foundation promised that the raised funds will proceed to various charitable causes.
