Denise Laurel Shares Bad Experience In Doing Collaborations

Denise says she went through an entire planning process for the supposed collaboration

Denise Laurel airs disappointment over a canceled collaboration after all the efforts she put into preparation.

The 36-year-old actress reveals in a TikTok video uploaded on Friday, April 5, 2024, that she was let down at the last minute by a supposed content collaborator.

According to the caption, Denise was approached to do a collaboration but it did not push through for a reason she did not disclose.

The visibly disappointed actress writes, “Conceptualizing, clearing my schedule, calling my [production] team, getting my makeup down.. Only to get canceled on right before the collab.”

Netizens have then speculated who it might be—pointing fingers on some Filipino content creators and influencers including celebrity sisters Toni and Alex Gonzaga.

But Denise directly answered no, and that the supposed collaboration is not with a local artist.

Assuming that it might be someone foreign, another user asks if it’s the Thai actor Win Metawin. Just as much, Denise says no, while saying, “Omg no not win! He’s a breath of fresh air.”

Interacting with another netizen who points out that it’s a pet peeve to do so, Denise agrees with a simple, “Trueee.”

With all things considered, a user says that there must be a kind of legally binding agreement between parties to protect Denise from all the last-minute cancellations. However, Denise replies with, “When it’s simple online collabs, it isn’t a common practice.”
