Gillian revealed that she hasn’t been in contact with KathNiel since their last project
Kapamilya actress Gillian Vicencio has directly addressed the rumor linking her to Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo’s breakup, denying her involvement from the issue
In an interview with ABS-CBN News during a Chinese New Year event, Gillian expressed her shock at the allegations.
“Nagulat po ako sa mga nangyari. Wala naman pong nangyari na ganun. Doon ko nalaman na ganun pala kapag may issue ka sa showbiz,” she said.

Gillian emphasized that she had a peaceful relationship with Kathryn and Daniel before the rumor, having worked with them on the series “2 Good 2 Be True.” She also highlighted working with Kathryn in the film “A Very Good Girl.”
“Nagkaroon din naman kami ng bonding ng KathNiel. Nag-message po ako kay Kathryn at hindi pa po kasi kami nagkikita ulit nang personal,” the actress said.
She clarified that she hasn’t had any contact with Daniel since the controversy came out.
She explains, “Hindi naman po kami nag-uusap. Matagal na rin po kaming hindi nag-uusap after noong taping. Noong taping lang talaga kami nakakapag-usap.”
Traumatized by the controversy
Gillian admits that being involved in the controversy traumatized her.
However, she chooses to acknowledge the support of her family and friends.
She shares, “Hindi maiiwasan na makaramdam ka ng trauma. Hindi ko na matandaan ‘yung pinakamasakit na comment kasi marami po.
“Siyempre, maaapektuhan ka naman talaga. Hindi maganda ang mga sinasabi. [Pero] dahil sa family and friends ko na hindi ako iniwan kaya medyo okay naman po ako ngayon.”
Even then, Gillian expressed that she’s okay to work with Kathryn or Daniel if there will be offers.
She affirms, “Okay lang po, kasi wala naman po akong kasalanan sa kanila, e.”
