Kathryn Bernardo Unfollows Daniel Padilla On Instagram

Did Kathryn also unfollow Liza, Julia, and Gillian?

Eagle-eyed netizens noticed on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, that Kathryn Bernardo already removed her ex-boyfriend Daniel Padilla from her Instagram following list.

This followed more than a month after publicizing their breakup in separate statements on November 30, 2023.

After their separation, Kathryn and Daniel were able to establish a civil relationship, as they were seen attending several events without traces of awkwardness with each other.  

Just one of the events that they graced together was the ABS-CBN’s Christmas Special in December 2023, in which they performed “I’ll Be There For You” by The Rembrandts. 

They were also spotted attending the Asia Artist Awards at the Philippine Arena, wherein they both bagged the AAA Fabulous Award with other recipients: NewJeans, Stray Kids, and Lim Young Woong. 

Kathryn and Daniel’s cordial demeanor with each other was made more evident just when they were spotted at Robi Domingo’s wedding on Saturday, January 6. 2024.

As of writing, Daniel is still following Kathryn on the said social media platform. 

More known to the fans as KathNiel, the two of them have called it quits after dating for 11 years.

In the weeks leading up to the publication of their breakup, their relationship was hounded with controversy after news of Daniel’s alleged infidelity broke across the internet. 

Kathryn Bernardo unfollows Gillian Vicencio 

Aside from her ex-boyfriend, Kathryn has also unfollowed Gillian Vicencio, whose name was dragged into the issue as one of the alleged third parties. 

Kathryn and Gillian co-starred in the 2023 film “A Very Good Girl” and in the ABS-CBN series “2 Good 2 Be True” in 2022. 

However, Gillian has long dispelled the allegations on X (formerly Twitter) and claims, “Wag niyo po ako idamay dito, hindi po totoo. Bigyan naman po natin sila ng respeto.” 

Prior to this, Kathryn has unfollowed Andrea Brillantes—another alleged third party—who was dragged into the controversy after Ogie Diaz’s revelation on his YouTube channel.

However, the talent manager later claimed that he was not the point person of the rumor; he also just received the information from a reliable source. 

Netizens speculate that Kathryn might be hinting at a larger picture, as she also unfollowed some of her celebrity friends, Liza Soberano and Julia Barretto.
