It was Marian who took the initiative to reconcile with Heart!
Heart Evangelista shares that it was Marian Rivera who first sought their friendship back to the right path.
In an exclusive interview with GMA News’ Aubrey Carampel on November 29, Heart says that she appreciates and is grateful to Marian for having the initiative to reconcile.
As for the fashion icon, Marian had spoken to some of their closest connections in order to mend their friendship.
“I really do give credit to Marian, kasi she really spoke to a lot of our common friends na she’d like to see me, ganyan,” Heart says.
To confirm that it was Marian who initiated their reconciliation, Aubrey asks, “Siya ang nag-reach out?” To which Heart replies, “Oo, so I really appreciate it.”

On October 25, netizens noticed that Marian and Heart have already been following each other on Instagram after years of indifference. Following this, they have also exchanged quick interactions on the platform.
Before Heart, Marian was first to speak up about their rekindled friendship. In fact, she assures that things are getting well and they are in constant communication with each other.
She says, “So, nakakatuwa na may mga conversation kami, na hanggang ngayon may communication kami. So, alam mo yun, God is good.”

Heart Evangelista once again taps on friendship
In the same interview with “24 Oras,” Heart seems to have brought up again her take on the concept of friendship, while still talking about Marian.
Heart begins, “Parang magpapasalamat ka na lang na, things were done and things were removed for the better.”
“So, I think for me, that’s all I need. And everything else, you know, people that I was friends with before, like for example, Marian, you realize that it’s such trivial matters for it to even be anything.
“‘Di ba? Mas may ibang nakakasakit sa’yo na talagang kailangang tanggalin ni Lord. Pero may mga iba na deserving.
“So, I’m very very happy that Marian and I are okay.”

Heart’s statements may be an allusion to a distant friendship she had with her former glam team, Justine Louise Soriano and Jeck Aguilar.
It can be recalled that they were once tightly knitted but have since parted ways.
As Heart has cut her connections with the two, she preached a message of friendship in one of her YouTube vlogs with husband Chiz Escudero.
