Myrtle Sarrosa achieves dream of writing a lobby music for “Call of Duty!”
Sparkle artist and popular cosplayer Myrtle Sarrosa adds another feather in her cap in the gaming scene, this time using her skills as a performer.
She wrote an original song for the fourth anniversary of “Call of Duty Mobile,” the most popular Mobile First Person Shooter (FPS) in the Philippines!
The song “In The Zone,” which is featured globally in the “Call of Duty” Servers of “Call of Duty” Mobile, is a composition of Myrtle together with Brian Lotho and Rangel Fernandez.
It was also performed by Myrtle together with popular gaming streamers Sharlene San Pedro, Doc Z, and Patricia Reyes. The song serves as the lobby music that sets off the mood prior to the game.
Myrtle proudly shared the milestone on her Instagram account.
She wrote in the caption (published as is), “This is definitely my Gaming ‘We made it’ Moment! The song we made ended up as our favorite games’ lobby music. Last year (around this time) @brianlotho and I had a chance to pen a song for my fave game @garenacodm. We were wishing ‘to one day write a song that would be the lobby Music of COD.’ That would be a dream but we knew it would be truly a challenge. But God is always watching and listening to our prayers. Cut to this 4th Anniversary and I still can’t believe that the song we worked on is finally in game as lobby Music and even in the Special Jester Area as Special Music.
“As a gamer, this is the biggest W yet in my entire life. To co-write together with @whattherangel who shared so much of her Talent and Bloths the legit GOAT who brought it in the zone. And Ofcourse assist in the Production of the MV together with @toothless.create and my long time friend who directed the video @the.79th
“It’s truly surreal to have one of the stuff you work on end up in game and this prolly is the biggest win in my gaming life. Ofcourse I share this success with my fellow streamers @iampatsyreyes @docziegaming and @sharlenesanpedro1 who never backed down to the challenges and made the vision a reality.
“Happy 4th Anniversary Codm Family! Let’s make more memories! We’re close to 1M Views Keep Streaming In The Zone! #CodmInTheZone”
At press time, the music video is close to getting a million views and has been featured in different countries such as Taiwan, Indonesia, Singapore, and Malaysia.
