Neither Natalie nor her rumored ex-husband have commented on the rumors
The news of the two ending their 11-year marriage comes from a report from Us Weekly published on Monday, August 7, 2023. The magazine cited multiple anonymous sources.
The news of their separation follows rumors in June that Benjamin, 46, was allegedly involved in an affair with climate change activist Camille Étienne, 25.
Questions about Natalie and Benjamin’s relationship arose when Natalie was photographed without her wedding ring on their 11th anniversary.
Since the news of the alleged affair, the couple has been attempting to work on their marriage, although their current status is uncertain.
“Natalie believes Benjamin’s affair was a brief and stupid liaison that means nothing to him,” a source told Us Weekly.

Another source revealed Natalie was “humiliated” by the rumors, while another claimed that Benjamin “regrets” his actions.
Neither Natalie nor Benjamin has issued an official statement about their relationship status.
The actress, 42, and her husband tied the knot in 2012, shortly after the birth of their son Aleph. They welcomed their daughter Amalia in 2017.
Us Weekly’s sources mentioned that Natalie is willing to try rebuilding trust in their relationship for the sake of their children, so they wouldn’t have to “grow up in a broken home.” But, another source indicated that Natalie remains uncertain about the possibility of reconciliation.
Natalie and Benjamin first crossed paths while working on Darren Aronofsky’s “Black Swan” in 2009, where Natalie won the Best Actress award for her role as Nina. Benjamin was involved in choreography for the film.
Natalie is a well-known actress recognized for her roles in movies such as “Jackie,” “Thor,” and “V for Vendetta.” Throughout her career, she has received an Academy Award and two Golden Globe Awards.
