The baby’s name is being kept a secret for now
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are now parents of two!
The singer secretly welcomed their new baby boy on August 3 in Los Angeles, as reported by TMZ and confirmed by People.
While the baby’s full name remains unknown, sources shared with TMZ that it begins with an R, like his big brother’s name.
The couple, who introduced their first child, older son RZA, in May 2022, have yet to comment on their new addition. Considering their past practice of keeping details private, akin to their handling of RZA’s name, it wouldn’t be surprising if they choose to keep their second son’s name under wraps for a while.

Rihanna announced her second pregnancy during the Super Bowl on February 13, 2023. Although she didn’t disclose the stage of her pregnancy at that time, she discussed her wish for more children and her neutral stance on the baby’s gender with British Vogue.
“Listen, I’m down for whatever,” she said. “My wish would be I would like to have more kids, but whatever God wants for me, I’m here. I’m open [to whatever baby gender next]. Girl, boy. Whatever.”
She also shared that Rocky wanted to know their first child’s sex. “He wanted a boy,” she said. “At first, he was open, then he was like, ‘Nah, I want a boy, I’m sure.’ I was just like, ‘Lord, please let this man get what he wants…'”
