Carlo and Charlie happily shared that they make it a point to fill their “love deposit” for each other
Carlo Aquino and Charlie Dizon were visions of joy and love during their “Magandang Buhay” appearance on August 15, 2023.
The two became emotional as they spoke about how life-changing their relationship was to each other.
Carlo, for his part, pointed out that despite having several relationships in the past, what he has with Charlie is really different.
“Feeling ko hindi [pa ako na-in love nang ganito]. Mas ‘yung love na binibigay niya sa akin ang mas nangingibabaw… mahal niya ako talaga. Ganun ang pakiramdam,” he said.
Noting that Carlo’s romantic in her life came as a complete “surprise,” Charlie explained that she was initially hesitant to let things unfold between them.
“So, hindi ko talaga ine-expect yung timing niya and all. Parang first time ko na-feel na, ‘Bakit open ako ngayon?’ ‘Tapos siya lang talaga nakagawa nun.
“I mean nagkaroon din ako ng relationship before ‘tapos hindi ganito, as in totally different. Ibang-iba. So, parang ngayon ko lang na-experience na ganito pala yung may jowa talaga,” she explained.
Carlo and Charlie’s “love deposit“
Despite their relatively new relationship, both Carlo and Charlie are aware that love is hard work and that exerting extra effort is needed to make sure that the other person is loved and cared for.

“May nakita rin ako sa social media na hindi raw palaging 50-50 yung kayang ibigay everyday sa isang relationship. Ako, minsan kaya ko ay 20 lang, so, kailangan ang partner mo ang ibigay ay 80%, ganun,” Charlie explained.
To make each other feel loved, Carlo and Charlie spoke about their so-called “love deposit.”
“Mayroon kaming parang ano, parang everyday, kahit paano, phone call, ‘yung love deposit. Parang kapag kulang ang lambing mo for the day, ‘Kailangan ko ng love deposit, pagod ako.’ Siya [nagsasabi],” shared Carlo.
“Ako po [nagsasabi] kasi minsan inaasar ko siya na, ‘Kulang ka pa sa deposito mo,'” added Charlie.
As Carlo described Charlie as someone who doesn’t run out of love, the actress, for her part, also noted that Carlo is very caring towards the people around him.
“Kapag ikaw ang kasama niya ay sobrang giving siya sa needs ng kasama niya. Parang alam na niya kaagad ang mga needs ko,” Charlie ended.
The “Third World Romance” stars first got to work together on the set of the 2020 Kapamilya soap “A Soldier’s Heart.” However, they only got close and eventually saw each other in a different light when they joined the Star Magic “Beyond The Stars” U.S. Tour last year.
