In an interview with news reporter MJ Marfori at a skincare event, Carlo openly shared his thoughts on the future.
The Star Magic actor emphasized the enduring nature of their bond, describing Charlie as not just his partner but also his friend.
Although they don’t have plans to get married yet, Carlo expressed his desire to settle down with Charlie “soon.”
“Wala pa, wala pa. Hopefully soon. Sana, ilang taon na ako, ilang taon na si Charlie,” Carlo shared.

Carlo described their relationship as relaxed and easy-going, making it simple to address any issue that may arise between them.
“Ang gaan, ang sarap tumawa. Naririnig niyo naman ‘pag tumatawa, dinig… At saka ‘pag may problema, uupuan. Pag-uusapan nang maayos,” he mentioned.
When asked about their future, Carlo acknowledged their contentment with the present and how they are not rushing into things.
He told MJ, “Masaya kami ni Charlie, nandoon ako. Pero huwag ka masyadong excited kasi hindi ‘yun ‘yung buhay. May biglang manggugulat sa ’yo diyan. Never kang magiging handa sa mga sakit sa buhay mo.”
Carlo also shared that his desire to build a life with Charlie naturally developed over time, indicating a shift in his perspective on life.
“Siguro day by day, hindi ko ine-expect na ganon. Pero sobrang… iba lang… Yung outlook sa buhay, nagbago,” he reflected.
