Julia bonds with Gerald and his family!
Real-life couple Gerald Anderson and Julia Barretto are making the most out of the Holiday season, as they spent an intimate time together abroad just days before Christmas.
Gerald recently uploaded an Instagram story showing his cozy, winter holiday trip with Julia and his family at The Grove in Los Angeles, California.
The actor has published a series of pictures in what seemed to be his early Christmas celebration with his family. His dad, brother, and a few other close family members are present.
The last slide, however, comes extra special as Gerald shares the frame with his girlfriend, Julia. The couple are snuggled up in an embrace—wide smiles—as Christmas lights glisten in the background.

This has been the first time in a while that the two are spotted together on a vacation. They were last seen at the ABS-CBN Ball 2023 in September 2023, wherein they graced the red carpet in a matching black ensemble.
Gerald confirmed his romance with Julia in 2021. Prior to confirmation, their status was met with massive controversy, as people linked Julia as the main reason to Gerald’s fallout with her ex-girlfriend, Bea Alonzo.
However, the actress clarified that she bears no involvement with Gerald and Bea’s breakup. In fact, in 2019, Julia takes to Instagram her sentiments about the issue and even called out Bea for charging “everybody to destroy me FOR YOU.”

Is Gerald Anderson willing to ask for Julia Barretto’s hand?
After a few years of being together, questions about Gerald and Julia’s future plans, including marriage, have become some sort of a regular query thrown at them.

Speaking with some reporters on the sidelines of the ABS-CBN Ball, Gerald had given a quick response about marrying Julia at the right time.
“Mas marami pang problema sa mundo kaysa sa’min,” Gerald begins before saying, “Dadating tayo. Darating tayo, basta. Basta.”
When asked how Gerald and Julia are able to work their romance, the actor says that finding the balance between their endeavors and time for each other has always been their stronghold.
Gerald says, “Maraming ups and downs, e. Relationship, business, career, maraming ups and downs ‘yan.
“Ang importante naman ay kapag nasa down ka, aangat ka ulit and to always stay humble. Basta, never give up, at ‘yun ang ginagawa namin. To never give up sa endeavors namin and each other.”
