Singer-actor Juan Karlos “JK” Labajo seems to have found a new romance in Miss Universe Philippines-Cavite Dia Mate, as seen on his Instagram post published on Valentine’s Day.
The 23-year-old actor flexed the Cavite delegate through an intimate black-and-white photo posted on Wednesday, February 14, 2024.
The photo shows the rumored lovers in sports gear, with Juan Karlos slightly touching the beauty queen’s face with his nose.
With a heart emoji as Juan Karlos’s only caption, the post was then met with an equally warm response from Dia, who has commented, “Happy Valentine’s Day love [heart emoji]”
As for the netizens, they flocked to the comment section to greet the rumored love birds and more so, voice out a humor or two regarding Juan Karlos’s surprising revelation.
One netizen quips, “Mga beauty queen pala bet niya,” which could be an allusion to Juan Karlos’s history of dating Maureen Wroblewitz—Asia’s Next Top Model Cycle 5 winner and Miss Universe Philippines-Pangasinan 2020.

Dia, for her part, has uploaded an Instagram story—a photo of her and Juan Karlos—with a caption, “it’s officially love season! Show off your love [heart emoji].”
Juan Karlos and Dia’s romance first reached the public radar when Dia greeted the “Ere” hitmaker on his 23rd birthday on February 5, 2024.
Dia writes, “To my light and happiness, Happy birthday love [heart emoji]. May you receive everything you deserve in this lifetime.”

On February 5, 2024, Dia was announced as one of the MUPH delegates via a reveal party held at Pardon My French in Makati City.
