Jessy’s parents had finally witnessed her tie the knot with Luis!
Celebrity couple Luis Manzano and Jessy Mendiola have finally tied the knot in a church wedding in Palawan, three years after their civil wedding took place in Batangas.
Far from the dinner dates and intimate trips that celebrities usually do on Valentine’s Day, Luis and Jessy decided to go a little different and renew their vows on Thursday, February 15, 2024.
According to a report by ABS-CBN News’s MJ Felipe, the wedding took place at a church in Coron, Palawan and was facilitated by Father Tito Caluag.
In a video shared by Patty Yap on Instagram, Jessy can be seen wearing a custom-made Martin Bautista beige silk dress for the welcome dinner.
Some of the principal sponsors include the Kapamilya big bosses, such as ABS-CBN Chief Executive Officer Carlo Katigbak and Chief Operating Officer for Broadcast Cory Vidanes.
Luis’s stepbrother Ryan Recto held the post as one of the Best Men, while Jessy’s sister, Megan Tawile, joined the entourage as one of the Matrons of Honor.
Luis’s parents, Edu Manzano and Vilma Santos-Recto, were also present, together with Luis’s stepfather Ralph Recto.
Jessy’s parents Roger Tawile and Judith Mendiola had also graced the event, after they were not able to do so during the couple’s first wedding at The Farm at San Benito in Lipa City, Batangas in 2021. Judith was only able to join them back then virtually through a video conference.

Jessy first shared their wedding plans earlier this February via ABS-CBN News. According to her, they see it as their “dream wedding,” especially now that her family would come home to witness the ceremony.
Jessy shares, “Finally, makakauwi na rin ‘yung family ko, ‘cause when we did our civil wedding noong 2021, wala pa ‘yung family ko noon.”
More than that, Jessy also says that she’s excited for her parents to meet their daughter, Isabella Rose, who they also fondly call Peanut.

“Nakakatuwa, kasi my whole family is coming and finally they can meet Rose. It’s an intimate wedding again, we’re not really hiding it but we’re not putting it out there naman,” Jessy says.
“This time kasi, si Luis nga sweet, e. Sabi niya, ‘I want you to have your wedding of your dreams, with your family and with the Lord,’” she adds.
No further posts or details have been disclosed since the wedding, but it can be expected that the couple will do so in the coming days, just in time for their third wedding anniversary on February 21, 2024.
