Markus describes his co-parenting setup as “easy, good, and happy“
Actor Markus Paterson is grateful that he is given the chance to play an active part in looking after his son with ex-girlfriend Janella Salvador.
Speaking on the August 23, 2023 episode of “Magandang Buhay,” Markus said that he and Janella have no problems when it comes to caring for their son, Jude.
“Palagi kaming magkasama. We have a good setup ni Jea. Plus walking distance lang naman yung where we live, so it’s easy for me to see him,” he shared.
He further described that their setup is “easy,” “good,” and “happy.”
“Wala naman kaming problema and Jude is the first priority. As long as we both get that smooth sailing lang,” added Markus.
Amid his effective co-parenting setup with Janella, Markus opened up that there are still minor hardships that they encounter along the way.
Thankfully though, Markus says they always make it a point to find their way around them.
“It’s all about communication and sacrifice,” the actor stressed.
Janella gave birth to Jude in October 2020 in the United Kingdom where Markus’ family is based.
Recall that Markus made headlines recently for finally discussing where things started to crumble between him and Janella.

“She was the first one to really actually teach me how to love unconditionally,” he said. “I’m glad that it happened with Janella because we already had that connection, that deep foundation of love and trust for each other.”
Although he admits to only having short relationships in the past, with Janella, things were different because “we already had that connection, the deep foundation of love and trust for each other.”
“Sobrang blessed ako sa kanya. I couldn’t ask for a better mother of my child. Sobrang galing niya,” he added.
Markus is currently part of the afternoon series “Pira-Pirasong Paraiso,” while Janella will be participating in a new movie with Thai actor Win Metawin.
