Who’s ready to see these artists in concert?

Now that the world is reopening for leisure and travel, live events are back. Case in point: Concert promoter Happee Sy recently tweeted a slew of dates. Her tweet had many waiting in anticipation.

Many wondered which artists she will bring to the Philippines. A lot of K-Pop acts have announced global tour dates already. That left their fans hungry for news on who will fill the slots in Sy’s mysterious schedule. The announcement everyone was waiting for dropped on June 19. PULP Live World revealed that the 2022 K-Pop Masterz concert will take place on July 29 at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Tickets go on sale via SM Tickets on June 26 at noon.

More about the K-Pop Masterz

K-Pop Masterz is an omnibus show featuring BamBam, Jackson Wang, and TREASURE. Most fans expressed excitement over the announcement of the show. But others were somewhat disappointed to see TREASURE on the bill.

YG Entertainment’s newest boy group has 12 members but only 10 are coming to Manila. Two of its members, Bang Yedam and Mashiho, are on an indefinite hiatus. The former will study music and the latter will spend more time in Japan with his family.

Fans shouldn’t be too disappointed as the remaining members are sure to bring high energy to the show. So will BamBam and Jackson.

Three amazing artists to watch

This will be BamBam’s and Jackson’s fifth trip to the Philippines. Their previous trips were with all members of their group, GOT7. The group’s first visit was for a K-Pop convention in 2014. GOT7 held two fan meetings in 2015 and 2016. They finally held a full-length concert in Manila in 2019.

Meanwhile, K-Pop Masterz will be TREASURE’s first time performing in Manila.

The show will be the second face-to-face K-pop concert in the Philippines this year. Begin Again: K-Pop Edition, which took place on May 29 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, was the first one.
