Netflix Reveals Joe Goldberg’s New Identity In The Latest “You” Season 4 Teaser

Hello, you.

Netflix released a promotional teaser for the upcoming fourth season of You, and we can’t get over it.

You is an American psychological thriller series based on Caroline Kepnes’ books. It follows Joe Goldberg, a serial killer and bookshop manager who develops a severe obsession with Guinevere Beck. The events in the first season led him to move to LA for the next one. His obsession then switches focus to the local heiress, Love Quinn. But it turns out that she’s just as crazy as Joe. The third season follows Joe and Love’s life in marriage and parenthood. Their poorly thought-out actions lead to Love’s death.

Netflix revealed the You season 4 teaser at this year’s TUDUM event. The video revealed a new cast joining our favorite psycho-killer.

The teaser reveals Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley) introducing his new identity. We will know him as Prof. Jonathan Moore in the latest season following a time of “refinement.”

“This time, I’m focusing on academia and instruction while keeping my typical extracurricular activities strictly professional,” Joe says.

“I made time to exchange ideas with like-minded colleagues. Unfortunately, with friends in high places, others are usually attempting to climb that social ladder. So, they end up falling—or shall I say pushed—to their social death. The question, by who?” he adds.

Following the events at the end of the third season, the television series will move to London. Before switching to Los Angeles for the second and third seasons, the first season was filmed in New York.

The fourth season of the psychological thriller series will consist of two parts. The first will debut on February 10, 2023, and the second will follow one month later.
