5 Mocktail Drinks to Get Your Party Started

We’ve made it through the challenges life has thrown at us in the past year and a half. While we all deserve to pop an expensive bottle of wine and share a toast with a friend, you can always opt for a drink that won’t break the bank—and won’t get you drunk as well!

If you’re not into alcoholic drinks, you can always choose to have non-alcoholic ones and still get the same amount of satisfaction. That’s right, you don’t need to pressure yourself just to please a friend. After all, true friends will always understand your choices in life!

Lunch Boxer PH created a number of drinks you can share with your besties without carrying the burden of a hangover the next day. And yes, drinks you can enjoy even on weekday evenings! Work the following day, you say? We’ve got you covered!

Kicking off our list is the Ninja Purple Drink for fans of Gatorade! Who would have thought you could actually create a mocktail out of a sports drink? All you need is some pineapple juice, a blue Gatorade, and dragon fruit juice! Oh, and don’t forget to put a slice of orange on top to really give that fancy and celebratory feel!

Second on our list is the Metallic Ombre Drink! Just so we’re clear, it contains no metal. But yes, it is sparkly AF! All you have to do is put some ice cubes (tons of it), lime juice, lychee + rose Rite ’N Lite (yay to carbonated drinks with zero calories), and some edible silver powder! Yes, you read that right!

Of course, we Filipinos love to bring in a tropical vibe to our bonding moments! So what better way to do it than create a Deep Blue Sea Drink with drinks you can find at your nearest convenience store. Some coconut-flavored Mogu-Mogu, a blue Gatorade (yes, another recipe featuring our fave sports drink), and some of Sprite! Oh, and don’t forget to put a few slices of oranges (again).

Of course, lemon goes well with lime. But did you know these two citrus fruits go well with our *fave* sports drink, too? If you felt bitin drinking your mocktail over a glass or two of the Deep Blue Sea Drink, there’s always the Blue Lemon Lime Drink that you can do in a few easy steps. Pour some lime juice, a cucumber-flavored Rite ’N Lite, some blue Gatorade, and voila! You’ve got yourself a mocktail you can resist. Oh, and it’s best paired with Pizzulu Pizza—just FYI.

Hey, we’re still not done yet! If you want to go for something colorful, there’s always the OM.BRE that’s almost too beautiful to mix and sip! Ladies and gentlemen, this might just be the mother of drinks. Pour some lime juice, blue Gatorade, Sprite, and a few (or a lot) of dragonfruit chunks! And then, some more Sprite. Don’t forget to put a slice of lemon on top!

Indeed, you can enjoy drinks with some of your closest friends and have meaningful conversations at the same time! So, how about we get the party started and get on with our mixing
