Andrea Brillantes says: “A real man, I believe, they know how to settle”
Andrea Brillantes has declared that her resolution for 2024 is to “be wiser in terms of boys.”
In an interview with TV host Luis Manzano on his YouTube, Andrea reflects on her recent heartbreak and considers it the “highlight” of her 2023.
During the interview with Luis Manzano on his YouTube channel, Andrea shared insights into matters of the heart. When asked about the highlight of her 2023, she candidly answered, “To be honest, yung heartbreak ko.”
She acknowledged that while 2023 may be seen as romantically challenging, she feels fortunate in other aspects of her life.
“Honestly, tinitingnan ko itong 2023 as pinakamalas ko sa pag-ibig romantically, pero pinakamaswerte ko rin sa pag-ibig sa fans, sa friends, sa co-stars ko, sa casual viewers ko, sa management ko,” she shared.

“Enjoy-in na lang ‘yung life talaga; harapin kung anong kailangan harapin in life,” Andrea said when asked about her New Year resolutions. “Be brave and have fun lang siguro; and be smart and be wiser in terms of boys. Magiging honest ako,” she added.
Andrea’s future partner
During the interview, Andrea outlined the qualities she seeks in her future romantic partner.
She says, “Loyal, maalaga, gentleman, marespeto, totoong lalaki—’yun na lang hinihingi ko, a real man,” she explained.
Andrea adds, “Kasi a real man, I believe, they know how to settle. Alam nila kung paano makuntento sa isa. Gusto ko ng one-woman man.”
Andrea’s last public relationship was with basketball player Ricci Rivero. The couple started dating in April of the previous year, and their breakup was confirmed to the public on June 9.
