We’re so ready for this!
Marvel Studios is developing a second WandaVision spinoff series for Disney+ that will center on Paul Bettany’s Vision.
WandaVision takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame. In the Disney+ series, Wanda and Vision live a happy suburban life until their reality starts moving through different decades of sitcom homages and television tropes. They eventually find that not everything is as it seems, shattering the illusion of their picture-perfect life.
WandaVision is a complex tale of loss and love. It ties up loose ends from previous movies and lays the groundwork for new ones. In one episode, the show’s antagonists revive Vision to fight the fake Vision in Wanda’s perfect world. The fake Vision finds a way to talk him out of it and restore some of his memories. The real Vision leaves Westview soon after.
The Vision will attempt to reclaim his memories and humanity in Vision Quest the series. It will focus on Vision. But rumor has it that Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) will also be in it. That would make sense, given how closely connected the two characters’ stories are in the MCU.
Sources suggest Jac Schaeffer will still be in charge of this WandaVision spinoff. He is the creator, writer, and executive producer of Agatha: Coven of Chaos (the other spinoff). But to be clear, nothing is confirmed until the people in charge say it is. As of this writing, Bettany’s and Marvel Studios’ representatives haven’t made any comments on the matter.
